Opening Proud Mary is a dream come true for me. The journey has been a wonderful learning experience. So many wonderful experiences, learning and creating. These have all been the steppingstones to creating “Proud Mary Hair Company” and “Main St. Barbers”.
I specialize in curly hair. I am a certified level three deva stylist, as well as a curl coach for Deva Curl. When I’m not behind the chair, I’m hanging out by the lake or educating others about Deva Curl throughout Canada.
Carolyn Meahan

I’m Carolyn! I’m the manager at Proud Mary Hair. I’ve been on the team since day one (August 2016), specializing in keeping the sanity in the workplace. What I love most about my career is the people! I enjoy being part of a great team of ladies. Together we strive to give clients an experience that is both relaxing and enjoyable.
I am a lifelong resident of the area. I am a wife and a mother of three girls. In my spare time, I enjoy camping and travelling with my friends and family.

I’m Stef! I’ve been with the Proud Mary team since 2017. I specialize in bold colours, textured cuts and blondes.
Born and raised in Hagersville, currently residing in Simcoe with my 3 amazing children.
Miranda Montague
Hairstylist
I’m Miranda! I rent a chair at Proud Mair Hair. My business is called True Colours. I joined the team in August 2016. I specialize in colour, cuts and kids’ cuts. I love meeting new people and creating new looks on my new and existing clients. I went to Marvel Beauty School in Cambridge in 2002.
I am a mom of two wonderful boys and have an amazing husband. My hobbies are my kid’s hobbies!
Meghan VanDyk-Hagen
Hairstylist/Barber
I’m Meghan! I’m an apprentice barber and hairstylist. I joined the team in February 2019. I went to school at Allanti School of Hairstyling. I specialize in shaves, blonding and balayage. I love helping people look and feel their best.
I’ve lived in Jarvis since 2009. Being raised in a Dutch family has made me the hard-working individual that I am. In my spare time I love hanging out with my family… and eating.

I’m Stacy! I joined the Proud Mary team in September 2016. Manicures, pedicures, waxing and tinting are my specialties. Helping people feel better and relax is the best part of my career. I went to school at Alexandria Institute in Hamilton.
Hagersville is my hometown, and I happy to be raising my daughter here. In my family, we strive for our days to be filled with wellness, abundance and purpose.

I’m Kyrbie! I am the Manager and Barber at Main St. Barbers.
I joined the team in 2018, specializing in tapers, fades and beard detailing. I love that I have creative freedom in my career. I went to school at CAPPA in St. Catherine’s.

Natalie Stevens

I’m Natalie! I started in the barbershop in March 2018 specializing in men’s cuts. I love helping others look their best, working with others and having the freedom of creativity. I went to school at Marvel School of Cosmetology in Hamilton.
I grew up in Dundas, and now reside in Selkirk. In my spare time I like to hangout with my three daughters and three grand kids, travelling, decorating and gardening.

Ashleigh Chapman

I’m Ashleigh. In August 2016 I joined the Main Street Barbers team as one of the first barbers. I went to school at Larenzo’s Hair of Design in Hamilton in 2011. Since then, I’ve specialized in men’s cutting and shaves.
My beautiful children are my life. We enjoy the outdoors, dress up and photo shoots!

I’m Cole! I joined the team in November 2022. I am a recent graduate of Shallow Creek Hair Academy in Brantford. Barbering allows me to chat with and get to know new people.
I was born and raised in Hagersville. In my spare time I enjoy playing and watching sports.
